Ditto, no complaints with BluResponse. They are also rated quite low for tyre noise; although I'm a bit dubious about those EU tyre ratings, they are noticeably quieter that what was on there, which is a valid consideration for top-down driving.

Rainexperts on mine, I wanted something list 1A and in the right speed rating so it was either those or the contis.

They're ok in the dry, ok in the wet, don't make any annoying noises, last a reasonableish amount of time and aren't horrifically expensive.

I was planning on giving the blue response a go but they were out of stock so went with the continentals.

Im very pleased with them in all conditions and they really impressed me on the track at spa last year loads of grip and imspire confidence.

Thanks

I was on Bridgestones, best i ever had. Couldn't get them this time so went Blue rinse, bit worried about a clash with the colour of the car (!) but otherwise very good.

Toyos on mine. After the first 200 miles they are fine. The initial 200 mile experience when new was a bit skittish. Probably release compound. Been happy since, but wary of wet conditions even though i’ve personally been fine with them in wet conditions. Stick well in dry

Are you looking for 55 or 60 profile?

60 seems "normal" on the V6 cars but some V8's run 55 I believe?

The Toyo CF2's may be completely different but wasn't impressed with CF1's in the wet.

Bought Goodyears (can't remember which ones) for mine several years ago as they had the best wet weather rating. Other than slightly squidgy feeling compared with the previous Bridgestones which you soon forget about have had no issues

How about Toyo R888r’s especialy with 60 r15’s Lots of rubber there. I’ve got Firehawks on mine, don’t like them.

Maybe Bridgestone RE003’s?. I’m new to TVR s’s and these tyres may not suit and be more saloon street racers.....probaly better suited to low profile rather than 50 or 60 aspect ratio. Just throwing it out there. But i like the idea of street radials but probably equally unsutable.

For daily use, the sport blue rinse are great. Vary good wet weather grip, which is important in a car with relatively high power to weight ratio...plus work fine in normal use...

...after all, you are unlikely to feel the difference...

...but they work just fine on the Cadwell track day ....kept catching up with all the V8s who seems slower on whatever tyres they had.... wink
