Cossy sold and Jag bought - the hard work begins next week
Discussion
busy couple of days: gearbox mount made. Engine mounts tidied up. Propshaft taken to be lengthened and modified for the Jag 'box. Diff (lsd) removed ready for a ratio change (cheers Alan Whitaker), Manifold gaskets taken to be used ad templates for the exhaust manifold plate. Electric water pump and controller ordered. Oh and Eurotunnel booked for the TVR S Euro tour in July. Still on target

All extra work, you going to get them re blasted and then paint or powder coated
A few layers of paint. I'm unhappy with the powder coating and there were only a couple of tiny rust like blemishes, I had been in two minds as to whether to investigate or not. Obviously glad I did. Judging by the abuse I gave some of the chassis tubes when jacking the car and that did not produce any rust, I'll stick with paint.
Oh and I'm welding 'jacking' strips to protect the tubing.
Exhausting work today. Temporary mounted the diff, propshaft and exhaust box to see how to route the twin 2" pipes from the box to the rear end. Needed to remove the chassis cross member in front of the tank and loose the ends of the unused diff mounting. The crossmember will be replaced 2"higher and a pair of vertical struts to reinforce that area. Means the exhaust will be above the lower edge of the chassis with the only exemption being the silencer which hangs about 5mm lower even after using a press to flatten it a little .

Started to weld on the chassis engine mounts after removing the antiroll bar brackets. Relocated the antiroll bar brackets to infront of the radiator once the rad mounts were moved to make room.
there is near 15mm clearance between the rad and roll bar brackets
