Change of shocks then
nope - re-using the ones I fitted 6 years ago, only making the top mountings more pleasing to the eye

Today I completed the brake lines. All now in stainless braided hoses.

Today I fitted the propshaft, mounted the alternator and fitted the remote oil filter and hoses. It's coming along but maybe a little slower than I need it to be.

Really nice work.

Did you ever concider the Ford Barra straight six? Or is that to tall to fit?

Kind regards

Can't get that in the UK. I did consider both BMW straight 6 and Cosworth turbo

Alternator drive belt adjustment designed and made. Cleaned and painted after the photo was taken. the pulley wheel is on a slotted bracket behind, this gives the necessary adjustment. I then measured the string and looked up what vehicles had that length of belt - 1020mm and a Punto .

Plumbed in the fuel pressure regulator
The Jag has a feed but no return pipe at the fuel rail so all done at the tank end. I have cut an access hatch in the boot. Just need to make a mounting bracket.

Completed the ecu wiring board and secured it in the drivers footwell. It is removable on an umbilical to give easy access.

Have you considered fitting an anchor point to the underside of the panel to clip the cables to, this will prevent the weight of the cables and vibration from loosening your termination points?

Edited by Penelope Stopit on Thursday 27th June 12:33
Hi Penny yes the cables go to anchored cable ties within 100mm directly under the opening and again every 150mm towards the dashboard. These have not yet been tightened.
