Coolant pipes needed

Hi All,

I am after 2 coolant pipes for my 1990 TVR S2. These are the ones which are right at the bottom of the engine and close to the oil sump pan. One comes from the water pump to a metal pipe, the other joins on the other end of the metal pipe.

I believe the part numbers from Ford are: 6188849 and 6171496 unfortunately Ford don't have any stock in the country anymore.

One of the pipes has different size ends and set bends, so not easy to get made up.

I wondered.....
1, does anyone know where I can purchase exact replacements?
2, the coolant pipe kits from ACT, do they come with these 2 pipes within the kit? From those who have purchased and know.

I'm hoping my attachment has worked to show the location of the pipes.

I changed all my hoses for silicone a year or so ago, so still have the originals kicking around the garage somewhere - I'll take a look at the weekend.

Many thanks for the offer, mine haven't split, but do look like they could at any point, so I think it would be best for me to replace with new.

Where did you get your silicone ones from?

I fitted the act-kit on my s3c and it fitted nicely after adjusting the length och the hoses.

Did the ACT kit include those 2 hoses at the bottom of the engine? Thanks for the reply

All hoses needed was included (think you see the actual kit on the picture), only hose I reused was the one between swirpot - waterpump since i dig not want to have that one going through the fan belt.

I did use a longer hose in the kit which still runs up and over the fanbelt?
