Hold your diaries !!! Exciting news just in, from the organisers of S Club......

The 2019 S Series event will be at the Castle Combe Race Circuit as part of the TVR Festival on Sunday 5th of May.

S Club 2019 will feature the thrilling charity raffle, the ConcourS d’eleganSe (See what we did there🤣) and many, many trophies for presentation.

Excitingly there will be more Trophies awarded than ever before, so that more people get the chance to be winners.

And of course, you get the chance to meet your fellow S chums and compare restoration, modification and specification on your respective cars.

All of this amongst the TVRCC Meeting with other marques with trade stands, a runout and a dinner event with after dinner speakers.

Monday is race day with a Tuscan Challenge and TVR and Classic Racing.

There is local Hotel accommodation or camping on site, for details please refer to Januarys Sprint p7

Apart from having fun, this is also our chance to show other TVR owners just why the S Series is the best car......"in the world" !

Sounds good to me Mike. Amazingly this is one circuit I have never been to, and there is some very nice country round there. A mere 210 mile run from Preston (and before anyone else says it, it is is all down hill too!).

Is this really an S Club heaven? Must admit I am a little concerned now. Only one night camping available which makes a right bugger of the weekend. With the S gathering on the Sunday and camping only Sunday night does that mean drivers have to drive there Bank Holiday Sunday then a short S club gathering in the afternoon. No run out? It was advertised as a weekend. Puzzled. Nothing on the TVRCC site which is reassuring either.

It does mention a run-out

'All of this amongst the TVRCC Meeting with other marques with trade stands, a runout and a dinner event with after dinner speakers.'

Unfortunately I can't make it this year and concentrating on getting the car ready for the Euro Tour.

I look forward to the 2020 event though (hopefully a bit further north again)

While I have to accept that MIke (and like you I have been active on both for a long time), there isnt any significant response on Facebook either, or at least not that I can see. I came in when it was announced but apart from you and I, Alan, Barry, Nigel and about 3 others there isnt an obvious response and there are only 2 months to go. Not even sure the separate S Club Heaven thread on FB is that well known? Just look at this PH thread and the one of FB, where are the responses? By this time last year there was loads of interest. Am I missing something?

That is exactly what I was afraid of. You are not the only one on PH only and there appear to be many who are on FB but are not aware of the specific S Club Heaven site. I have shaken a tree, a little fruit has appeared but not much yet.

NOTE Just a bit of additional advice. According to latest SPRINT (page 07): The Sunday event including the S Club Heaven requires PRE BOOKING and passes will be issued. It is only £3 per car.

Monday can be pre booked on the TVRCC site at a discounted price of £10 per adult for TVRCC members (and passengers). Anybody entering Sunday and camping will still need a raceday ticket for Monday. Non members £15.
