another update:
Camping at Oulton Park. When originally negotiated Oulton said camping only opened midday Saturday 28th, indeed I commented to them that this was not the arrangement I was used to and might deter some people. The event was subsequently advertised as camping from midday Saturday. Then the tickets arrived (email) which said the campsite was open from 0700 on the Saturday! I have tried to query this without success so far. Now, as Gary Mahon has noticed and I have confirmed, the website now says the campsite is open from midday FRIDAY 27th!!! I will make another attempt to get a definitive answer and report back!

I am not sure this makes any real difference to anyone now as it will be too late for most people to change their plans. But it makes sense for me to go down Friday night!

Shame I couldn’t get to come see you all this weekend, having a bit of a nightmare fitting a new kitchen, and hasn’t gone quite to plan. Hope you had a great time and look forward to seeing the photos.

'Post from Richard; Many thanks to those who made the SCH event at Oulton Park such an enjoyable and memorable weekend. I will get round to checking the judging slips and letting you have results as soon as I can. I will also do an article for Sprint. I thought I would let you know that I have had great feedback from Martin Lilley (ex owner of TVR for those who are not familiar with the name) who visited us on Saturday. Apparently he had been ill and this was his first real event and the enthusiasm of the S owners, quote, 'really made his day'. Good one folks!'
