Has anyone had a set of braided hoses made up for the cooling system on an ''S'' ? If so....how much ? Any educated guesses or ideas for someone who can do it ? Cheers Mark

Do you want this for improved reliability or just looks, if just looks you could try overbraid as it will be a lot cheaper, there are some people in the yellow pages who make custom hoses, what area are you in?

Improved reliability is my main driver closely followed by looks. I'm fed up with the rubber ones which are crud, and getting replacement hose is proving troublesome. I'm in the Kent area. Cheers mark

There’s a place in Thamesmead that make up hoses, I can’t think what they’re called. I would recommend the silicon hoses by Samco Sport, I have a set on my mini, they can be taken off loads and they don’t perish, they also do different colours so still look ok, not as good as braided but probably more available as they should be the same as Granada? The mini set is around £120 so the Granada ones would probably be double that.
