Air Filter ???

I need to replace the air filter on my S3. It has a Pipercross unit on there currently, which I believe is a specially adapted one for the ''S''. Does anyone know if this is the case and where I can get a replacement. Also, are Pipercross units the best ones for the ''S'' or does anyone know of any better options (K&N)? Any help would be much appreciated...

You can get a pipercross filter cleaner from your local halfords for about a tenner. It'll clean the old gunk out of the filter with some 'special' stuff and then you apply the filter oil also supplied. -- Mark

Pipercross filter No.3004 is fitted to the S, A good motorfactor or rally outlet should keep them, saying that price will be the same as from TVR . Steve Parker

If its beyond cleaning then you could try PERFORMANCE CITY, Moulton Park, Northampton - they are a Pipercross dealer. My S2 has done 100K and had never been cleaned !! I cleaned it out & its as good as new. Just make sure you use the proper cleaner & not fairy liquid !! GB

Unfortunately I need a new one as I also need the mounting bracket (plastic bit) due to beaking mine when cleaning it ! Thanks for the advice.
