V8S Front Fog/Driving lights

The Front Fog/Driving lights on my V8S don't work, apart from blown bulbs and fuses, would anyne have any suggestions on what/where to look to find any clues as to why?

Have they ever worked? Maybe you just haven't turned them on properly. Which may seem a silly thing to say, but you need: engine running, headlights on high beam, front driving lamp switch 'on'. The switch illuminates to show the lights are on. If the switch lights up but the driving lights stay off, then you're looking at possible fuse/relay/wiring fault.

I've tried them with all the lights switched on with no joy. The switch lamp (orange bit?) doesn't light up,unlike the rear fog lamps and switch which is okay. There is no illumination to any of the switches on the centre panel, which I assume is due to a blow bulb to light the fibre-optics as on my old wedge.

I spent ages thinking that my driving lights didn't work, and finally got round to doing some fault finding. I immediately got stumped trying to remove the trim to get at the fusebox, so came and had a look on PH for an ideas and came across a posting about the lights working with the full beam. I hadn't tried this as the driving lights on mine are fog lamps and should therefore be wired with the low beam , but I gave it a go and hey-presto they worked. Thank God I hadn't taken half the interior apart before I discovered that!

Apologies if you've already tried this, but I just wanted to ensure that you don't fall into the same trap that I almost did.

...and just to confirm that every TVR is different... mine come on with the sidelights...! (so in THEORY I could drive like a numpty... but rest assured I don't! - besides more light shines out of my ass than from the front spots!)

Thanks everyone for the help and suggestions, I've just been outside and tried them when on full beam, and one of them works!!!!!!! Result, maybe it is a blown bulb after all.

Check the wiring connector towards the rear of the duff lamp, normally gets full of crud.

Excellent - preferable to stripping half the interior down for no reason!
