My boot hangs too low on the rear nearside and it means water heads straight for that corner when its wet. Havings een various qualities of boot fitment on the S series, is there any way to align it better. Without being I am thinking that if all remaining 3 corners fit fine then the fibreglass ain't straight!?!

and happy cos just ordered 2 new badges for my baby so Mr Batty can stick the front one on whilst the car is on ramps for various bits and bobs next week sad i know but already looking forward to getting her back from its service and new bits and I havent even taken her in yet!

Hi shnozz

Do you mean the boot lid is below the level of the back of the car in the rear n/s corner or that water tends to collect in the trough in the rear n/s corner. Cos if the latter, have you checked that the drains are clear? Sorry if this is obvious

For the record seems to do the same in mine as well!

cheers

My boots exactly the same as this shnozz, so when you get a fix let me know so I can do mine as well .
I can also confirm that cleaning out the drain channel especially the near side one will keep your boot dry/dryer just use a net curtain wire/spring thingy to clear it out.

Harry - will do. Car goes in to David Batty Thursday for a fair bit of work and will ask him when I am there.

Graham - I do mean that the actual bootlid "dips" on that side, rather than having water collect in the drain channel.
