I've unsuccessfully tried to obtain a brakepressureequalizerdevice (if that is correct English, or the longest word ever) from the Dutch TVR deakers. Is there anywhere in the Uk I can order one, and at what cost?
I also think my exhaust manifolds are oast their prime. Are they still available and at what price?
Desperate for the brake thing.

I think you mean the brake proportioning valve (aka pressure regulator valve). Gadget that goes in the rear brake line and reduces the amount of pressure going to the rear under heavy braking.

It will be a standard part, don't know what car they would be off but probably a Ford along with the rest of the brakes, Sierra, Escort, that sort of thing? No doubt most main dealers/specialists could find one for you, if you talk to Tower View (0044 208 452 6922) they may even still have my old one that became 'spare' after the monster brake upgrade. You may find other places that do brake upgrades have a similar stock of left over bits from people who have had big upgrades. If you get stuck, there are several aftermarket places that sell adjustable proportioning valves that you could use, I got mine from Tilton. If you get an aftermarket one, you will have to set it up correctly to suit the car. A standard one from TVR/Tower View would just bolt straight on, of course.

Manifolds, still available, ACT do various sorts (they advertise on Pistonheads ), this is something else that places like Tower View will do.

Hope this helps,
Peter Humphries (and a green V8S)
