Does anyone know if V8S mats are the same fit as S3 ones. Autostyle only show the V8S. Has anyone replaced theirs with some from any other company?

Great question, I need this answered as well... Although I was going to hold off until I finished the dash and the roof struts, oh and the alloy switches (LeeBee did you get my email ?) and the Vauxhall window switches, oh and don't forget the Glass Block wall in the bathroom ! phew, but if this is confirmed I'd prolly order a set for the S2

Try Richard Thorpe Racing on 0114-281-7507 as I know he bought up a load of obsolete TVR car mats recently.

What was included in this price ?

Front mats, but what about the rear shelf mat, was this included also, and did you go for TVR logos ?

I finally got round to ordering some new front mats from Autostyle for my S3. There was an initial query as they only showed V8S or S3000 as available. The ones that arrived were too big but after a phone call it was suggested that I send them a template which I did and just a couple of days later the correct ones arrived. They are very good quality and fit perfectly. I went for the ones with the ally heel plate and they look great. Autostyle seem to be a very good company to deal with and were very helpful and of course now have a template for the S3. You can find them at www.autostyle.co.uk/index1.html.

Thought I might have to replace mine, but having attacked them with 1001 carpet cleaner, they've come up like new!

Be interested to know the replacement cost though...

I paid £56 for a pair of black front mats with ally heel rest on the drivers side. Check out the web site because they have different qualities - some cheaper and some more expensive. They will do replacements of all the carpets - back shelf, boot etc if you want them. Not the cheapest but they are very good quality and look great.

cheers mike - may have to invest in some of those when the carpets get replaced later this year.
