Where to buy an s3C
Discussion
I've just sold the wedge and am looking for a decent s3C around the Greater London area. Had a look in Pistonheads.com and Autotrader.co.uk classifieds, and not found a fantastic selection of cars.
Where's the best place to look for an s Series?
Does anyone out there know of any good web sites / dealers who have s3C's for sale, or alternatively, anyone who's thinking of selling theirs!
Thanks!

I found my S3 on Carsource. They don't have a huge selection on there, but you can register your requirements and they'll email when any become available.
Alternatively, you could try TVR Webmart; they've got a couple of S3s (not S3Cs) on there at the moment.

I can deffo recommend Rob Ingleby from www.findasportscar.co.uk
I didn't use his full find a car service, I sourced the car and used Rob to inspect it, But Im sure with his contacts he'll find you an S3c in no time (well within reason, these cars are scarce )

Incidentally, what's the better bet? An s3 or an s3c?
Ahh good question, I *was* initially looking for an S3c primarily because it has an LSD and has significant Torque increase over previous models. However the lure of a cheap S2 that needed the interior sorted got me to change my mind (and made the wife happy as it was half the cost)

WhatI meant was that if it's an S3 it wont have had cats in the first place will it!

Cheers
there are normally 10 - 12 S's for sale each month. The magazine is a good read too and i have never thought it a city boy publication. It generally keeps you in the know with events as well. You have specialist insurers that advertise (with v competitive rates). You learn of TVRCC track days etc.
Stop being such a tight arse. Your pockets will have to be deeper if you are buying a TVR

All of that may be true, but it's still a good magazine

Well the Steve Heath Bibles were "supported" by the TVRCC, so some technical output!
And the last Hants meeting was over 50% S owners. (6 in car park and two others in their Griff's). But the club can only reflect its ACTIVE members.
Your profile says Bristol so see www.tvrcc-bristol.co.uk/ , the Bristol RO has a Vixen.

PS. Some "classic TVR owners" think the TVRCC went to the dogs when they let in wedges in the early 80's. Personnally I'd ban the Chimaera as well. {joke}!
