look in each week but first time posting! Had red S2 for about 18 months,generally enjoying ownership (more so when weather is good...). To the query;firstly, can anyone out there suggest a good garage in chorley/Preston/Wigan area for service etc (for whenever I hit a problemmo-theyre quite straightforward cars really I guess....?!) & anyone recommend someone to recover hood & idea of cost etc...
By the way, passed grey S on M6 & beeped yesterday p.m. (Wigan section). Nice to see another (not seen more than a handful around & I cover a lot of U.K. although not in TVR....Thanks in advance!

On the hood query, you can buy the rear hood and the pieces for the targa at www.autohoods.co.uk pretty cheap. Then all you have to do is find some one to fit it or have a go yourself. Autohoods recommended a guy in London who would fit it for about £160, but there may be someone similar up your way.

Okay, rumbled....andyf007, will this do? Thanks 4 info, hood looks okay but panels marked (hardly ever use em)& plastic (vinyl?)trim come away from rear, currently being held in place with tape!! Also, rear screen a little opaque. I guess will need 2 sort along with top steering uj (it is this uj that is usually cause of wobbly steering isnt it??). Ta!!

stick a new metal bulkhead bearing in whilst you are doing the job - for teh sake of adding another £20 to the bill it would be worthwhile.
