Just had a go at fitting a new sterio in the S. Typically the fittings were different so i cut the wires to make new connections.
While cutting, the wires sparked (yes i now know i should have disconnected the battery)and i think a fuse has blown.
Exact fuse not evident from main fuse board. Has anyone any idea where they may be another fuse and what type it might be??

You wouldn`t have had to disconnect the battery to cut the wires. You probably cut more than one wire at once causing a short circuit the moment the cutters broke through the insulation on two or more of the wires. If you cut wires like that one at a time, a short circuit can`t happen.

There might be an in line fuse but its not immediately visible from the sterio opening.
The live wire ((Red) if it is live) is very short and difficult to access so i wondered if it might be sited somewhere else.
The three wires coming out of the car are Red, Black and blue. The S Bible states two possibilities but my wires are different again.
Any ideas would be welcomed.
