I know this is the insulting question one should never ask in a TVR environment, but ... how much additional fuel consumption on a S3C and does it work with a cat anyway?

cheers

Power boost valve sounds like a turbo sort of thing? If you mean rising rate fuel pressure regulator (FSE), yes they do seem to work, mainly improving responsiveness rather than absolute power.

Ive looked at these for my S2 and I fancy one, but other parts and costs are getting in the way at the moment.

They increase the fuel pressure in relation to throttle position, therefore if you drive it hard you will suffer more fuel consumption, driving lightly wont make too much difference.

On a performance note, I understand they work quite well on the S's and give better pull in 4th & 5th.
