You can get various grades of poly from soft as the original rubber up to almost solid like nylon.

There is hardly any rubber in the rear trailing arm bushes and unless they're knackered there's really not much point replacing them. But if they *are* knackered it is critical to replace them as they can cause tramping and throw the geometry miles out.

Peter,

1) where did you get your polybushes? Wedge have only got sets for front and rear, without any wording about stiffness. The manufacturers themselves (Polybush and Powerbush) have nothing for the "S" - not according their webpage.

2) rear trailing arm bushes: sorry, what means "knackered" exactly? (English isn't my mothertongue...)
As the rear suspension has a major influence on steering precision and stability, I do not want to neglect it.

cheers - Patrick

Poly bushes from Tower View 0208 452 6922 (sadly I know that number by heart now...)

Knackered means damaged or worn out.
