Roof Panels for S1

I had a nasty experience in my S1 the other month when the driver side roof panel flew out whilst I was driving down a three lane dual carriageway. Thankfully there was no one behind me.

However, can anyone advise me of where I can get and how much are replacment roof panels for the S1. Also When I purchased the car (my first TVR) it did not have roof catches installed. Should it have?

I believe they are about £150 and are TVR specific. They also come untrimmed so you will have to add the cost of having it trimmed aswell. Once you have got the bare panel then you will probably want to sand it down to match the rest of the roof before you get it trimmed.

Roof catches are a long running debate. I have run mine for several months without any up to significant speeds without any issue.

I have though refitted them as I am having a new roof fitted and I don't want it to end up being knackered by bouncing it down the road.
