Got to my destination in Norfolk on snow and ice yesterday with the feeling that the car wasn't right at the rear end. The fact that it was rather tricky to keep in astraight line on the ice was obvious but there seemed to be more. Along with a droning that seemed familiar.....

Went and had a feel around today to find the nearside wheel bearing has gone ! I was looking forward to another relaxing day tomorrow in front of the fire etc etc and now I've got to drive my dad to work at 6am on snow and ice to nick his runaround car to try and get a wheel bearing on New Years Eve and then fit the thing so I can drive it tomorrow night to get to the party I'm going to !!!! Barring the fact I need the thing to get me to London on Tuesday afternoon !!

I love my car to bits, literally in bits !! This will all have to be done in the garage which must be around -5 and under 4 inches of snow !!!!!

A**E !!!!!

The new bits look good though

Bummer!

And I thought I was plagued with Christmas car trouble. My everyday eurobox has let me down so I've had to put my S back together before I'd really finished it as it's my only transport now. I keep having to get under it and "adjust" somthing. Got to do the same this morning (and I'm coming down with a cold) as like you Mark, it's got to get me to a party tonight.

Hope you get the bearing ok and fitted in time.

Happy New Year!

Dave.
