Yo Guys,
After a lot of stress with the bank and insurance over the weekend, I finally picked up the car Monday evening. Driving it easy for a while, but its GREAT !!!! Surprised to say that my first fill up only took 20L for 150 miles (34mpg!!!) but that won't last once I get my foot down.
It has the usual faults, like a fuel guage that goes up and down faster than a roller coaster. But the sun is out and the top is down, and I have a smile on my face. Needs some TLC, but I think it is a good one.
I'll put some pics up to show you. It certainly draws a crowd.
What about the bonnet prob, was it suspension or tyres ?
I gotta admit, recently I've been driving the S2 every day what with all the sun and all, and I really don't know how Im gonna go back to driving the Renault Scenic after prolonged driving of the S2 !!!
Only prob during the all the sun is finding somewhere in the shade to park, so as not to roast myself getting back in )
Shmern

(Note my mates TR7 in the background)
The tyres are 60 profile, so I guess that the suspension is very low. The exhaust is only 80mm above the road. Can someone tell me the height of their chassis outriggers from the road as a check, to see if the exhaust is slung low, or the whole car is low.
The bonnet hinges look like they need adjusting up, so this may solve the bonnet opening issue.
I note that the TVR handbook with the car states ground clearance as 140mm. What a load of jokers.
Cheers
Agree - nice pics - good quality too.
