types of mats

sorry if this has been asked before but are v8s and s3 mats the same shape and size??could they be a straight fit??

I've tried to get mats for my S1, and I know they are a different shape to the S2 and S3 ones. I guess nothing is standard on a TVR.

Which bit is different? They look the same to me. Early S2's (S1.5) even use the S1 body.

If you get stuck I can measure up the V8S mats next time I get the chance (i.e. this w/e) and tell you the dimensions. But that won't do you any good unless you get some kind soul to measure up the S3 mats for comparision!

Got some rough dimensions for you. It's roughly rectangular 30" long, 18" wide. The outside edge is straight, the edge near the transmission tunnel tapers in to about 13" wide half way down. The end near the pedals is 13" wide. Between the mid point and the pedals it widens to about 14". Hope that's accurate enough for you, can get it more exact if you want to lend me a 30" long flat bed scanner?

Just ahd a price for a full set of carpets for my S3c from TMS for £430.00, which at first didnt seem too bad, but i've got to fit them. Anybody know of anywhere else. Or maybe can recommend somewhere else?
