Never posted anything on this site before & not sure whether items for sale should be posted here, but anyway, here goes..... I have got 2 brand spanking new (complete with stickers etc) Bridgestone RE71's which I bought as spares for my S3 and never got round to using 'cos I chopped the S in for a Griff 500. So if anyone is interested give me a call and make me an offer (i think they were £65 each unfitted - so somewhere sensible under that price will do) - I live in Hungerford, Berkshire so best not to call if you live in Scotland! Phone No is 0467 891131. P.S. I bought these in the middle of last year from Headley Tyres in Newbury, Berks, who, despite the fact the tyres are no longer made, appeared to have no probs getting them - so if you need more than 2, give them a shout.

SO2's are a much better tyre, but then they are 3 times the price, you get what you pay for. If you have an S then SO2 do not come in the right size. Mark

I could offer you a cheeky 50 quid for the pair if you want shot of them and I only live in cold ash so could come and get them too ;-) -- Mark

That's not to say it's not an option. You can put on 55? profile without any problems. They don't fill the wheelarches quite as much but what the hell.

They come in 205/55/15, which goes on the same rim and is so close to the original 205/60/15 that you'd never tell the difference. The S02PPs are significantly better than earlier tyres and worth going for. Cheers, Peter Humphries (and a green V8S)

One point on the performance front... I never had any probs with my S3 and that was shod with RE71'S all round plus they are the right profile to enable the bonnet to open properly (if they're on the front that is!). Simon

Fantastic! I'll give you a call tomorrow if I may... unless I'm beaten to it of course, have to see a man about a fireblade tonight. -- Mark

Ted - S's ground bad enough with 60 with 55 they would be more like a plough. And Peter you have a V8S with a S3 every millimeter counts. Mark Edited by TVR Mark on Monday 23 April 18:28

Hi GB, Just had a quick e-mail from Mhibbins and we agree that a sense of fair play should prevail, so if you want to pick up the tyres this weekend give me a call and they're yours. Cheers, Simon
