Nick,
Back on the scene again now! We must get together with the girls as well before Chrimbo!

Definately mate. About time we got together.
Plenty of beers are festering in the garage (along with the 'S')

Oi Jas ! Where you been ???? Trust you are well ???

Nick, nice piece in Sprint the other day. I quite liked being referred to as a 'fellow enthusiast'

How has your experiences with the Griff been then? Is it all you had hoped. Have you had her in pieces yet?

Hi to you both!
I can't wait to see the Griff Mark and those beers sound good as well Nick!
I've been working away and then went on a bit of beer holiday with the lads in Cornwall. I may try taking the body off the chassis tomorrow, but it will depend upon the weather. I'll keep you posted!

Jas.

Sorry not an S, but a 92 Pre Cat Griff, Brooklands racing green, live in Rayleigh if anyone fancies a drive out some time.

Nick,

The Griffith is everything I wanted it to be and more. It does not have the rawness of a S and I miss that.

It is quieter, more refined. Handles well. Goes like stink and gives you the capacity to cover massive mileage and get out at the other end not feeling knackered. It is truly fantastic.

I haven't had it in bits yet as I haven't needed to. I have one service done and the steering rack had to be sent back to the factory to be reconned (£900) paid for by the warranty

Jas & Nick,

It would be good to get together for a beer some time.

Jas,

Did you get the body off and if not when ? What else is going on with the car aswell...

Mark,

Due to the crap weather last weekend, I didn't lift the body off. Come hell or high water it's coming off this saturday though!
Other than that not much happening with the car yet. I plan to spend a bit more time working on it around xmas and plan to have the engine & 'box out by the beginning of January.

Regularly see a grey S on the A120 travelling from Marks Tey towards Braintree - anyone here?

Pistolar,

Okay, will be taking the body off on Saturday, and I'll take some piccies.

As there seems to be a fair numbers of 'S's in Brentwood/essex area (and Johno with his rather nice Griff - be it over the water), how about all meeting up at a pub. Could do with an injection of enthusiasm in these dark winter nights. No need to go too far.
