Please can you let me know if there is any news on the delivery of the next batch of indicators. I need a pair as soon as you have any as just painted the car and putting her back together ready for the better weather.

Many thanks and happy New year to all.

Ditto. The thought had gone through my mind.

I bought a couple of pairs off the bay when they were £20-25 each, when they first became hard to come by.whistle

Whilst some of our fellow posters were poo-pooing the seller for profiteering...................

My stock spares are not for sale I hasten to add.

Graham, Having been browsing and reading a number of threads, I came across the one on indicator light lenses which made me curious as to the state of mine so I had a look and they are badley cracked around the screws. So if its possible I would like to put my name down for a set when you re order...thanks Tom

I was talking to a guy this morning who is Ex-RAF and he reckons that each squadron had three series one sherpa vans and these , and more importantly the spares for them will be in the surplus system now...
I have no idea how to tap into the surplus system but it could be worth one of you ex-service guys taking a look ?

Nice idea, and there may well be some of "our" front indicators collecting dust in some huge military stores somewhere but isn't this a Series 1 ?

Hmmm... the "Series 1" bit was mine, I dont think he actually said that, but we were talking old and I'm happy to say I'm not an expert on Sherpa's hehe

perhaps I could find out a bit more about what the RAF actually had, to see if the idea has legs ...

I will be back...

ETA - wikipedia show the correct model as between 1974 and 1982... what were TVR doing fitting them in 1990's ?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LDV_Pilot#Sherpa_1974...

ETA (2) They are auctioning off vehicle spares but theres not a detailed list...
