well done norman

i can see that the main box is reduced by at least two thirds in size to my system so thats why you have more grunt !

when i have the system built i can use this as a guide so i dont make the box to small and make it to loud

cheers keith

will be good to see steve j's system ?

Anybody had a more recent stainless replacement exhaust? I've seen manifolds. downpipes etc. but can't find many places selling main systems.

Any advice appreciated.

This looks the same as mine which was already fitted when I purchased the S2, I have removable baffles which are removed!

These should still be available through ACT (no photos of the exhausts though) or JP Exhausts directly. They used to manufacture the exhausts for tvr car parts as well as ACT.

Maybe at some time but mine was supplied bt TVR Car Parts and made by Graham (I think that was the name), whom I met, of http://www.stainlesssteelexhausts.com/ and it was a superb sound INHO

I had a system (for my V8S) made by JP Exhausts in Macclesfield. Very helpful. Lots of samples of work on their website (including TVRs). I'd be surprised if some of the names mentioned didn't use them as their supplier.

Stainless manifolds, they make the sound nice and crisp.

The buisness end, gives a nice meaty growl.

Impact damage after a few years hooning wink

This is the one JPExhausts made for me in stainless steel two weeks ago.

I noticed they have a one off in mild steel as well: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TVR-S1-Mild-Steel-Exhau...

Hi, what’s the sound like from your jp exhaust? Do you have a video by any chance? I’m tempted to buy one but would like to hear it beforehand and get an opinion please.

Thanks
