Loads of Loti cross the US to be there...

US-based Lotus owners gathered in St Louis recently, with some driving hundreds of miles across the country. Here's a selection of some of the photos.

Wow..nice to see so many Lotus examples over there. Good to see they are out and about being driven. I am a committee member of the Lotus Drivers Club in the UK, we are always trying to encourage our members to get their cars out and use them.Well done.

Yeah, Clive was there, he flew to Denver and then drove to St. louis in the Colorado Convoy. Nice guy, I'm pretty sure he wasn't too fond of the Kansas City bbq.

I think I heard someone say there were about 177 Lotus cars, and over 400 people at the Lotus Owner's Gathering.

Travis,

Great photos! It was good to finally meet you in person, as I did with so many others at LOG. We did the long hot drive up and back from/to Houston which was almost as much fun as LOG itself.
You've got a good looking 89. It was a reminder of the TLC that mine is going to be needing to get it looking half that good.
Hope you had a safe trip home and hope to see you at LOG26.
Track day was a hoot. Who was the gent in the Blue V8 Esprit? That car handled great and was dang fast. My only spin on the track came from tryimg to catch him.

Later,

Thanks Al.

It was good to meet you too.

The blue V8 was Willy Quintana.

Cool! That's my chrome orange Elise and black '83 Esprit Turbo in the upper right-hand picture. Only about 900 miles round trip.
