Hi all

I'm after having what should be a simple job done on my 5 series - installing an aux audio input to the OE stereo - but would rather not do it myself. Can anyone recommend an ICE installer/specialist in the Bromley or Orpington vicinity?

Many thanks

Neal

If you can get to Wandsworth I highly recommend Dynamic Sounds - they've done lots of jobs for me, or at least supplied the parts which they stock in great numbers for most needs.

If it's the e39 in your profile it's literally a 20 min job at most with a £10 cable, if you're ever passing Rochester I'd be happy to do it for nowt smile

Its just a case of, unscrew 4 little screws holding the nav screen in, plug in cable and poke it through to glovebox, screw monitor back in place. Job done.

It is the E39, yes.

Very kind offer indeed matt, much appreciated. Perhaps more research as to how easy it is before taking you up on it, to avoid embarrassment!

ETA - Really struggling to track down the £10 cable you're referring to - any particular places I should be looking?

Was going to mention them.

There's also Autoleck on Well Hall Rd, Eltham. Never used them but they've been there ages.

I hate to bad mouth a company but don't use the above company.
