Car Audio Specialist

Hi, does anyone know of or can recommend a good in-car audio specialist in the East / North London or Essex areas?

I have posted a topic on the In Car Electronics forum re fitting a USB style device which would interact with the Merc COMAND unit so I can play MP3 files etc.

Any help would be great

I now always use Auto Audio in Park Royal (but more west than north London). Best guys I've ever used for anything like this.

Thanks for that, I didn't want to travel too far but I'm having problems trying to find someone near me who has this experience. If I get no luck near me then I will call them. I'm being told that a lot of audio businesses are closing down or changing their strategy due to new cars coming with everything already fitted

Depends where in Essex, Pulse in Hadleigh (on way to Southend) can probably help, does everything from audio to reversing cameras

Thanks guys, much appreciated. When looking for the device I wanted, I managed to buy it from the UK reseller directly and they offered a mobile installation service for 100 gold coins so have gone for that option

Will definitely keep in mind Auto Audio for any other work. I am thinking about buying one of these Smart Top devices so if I can't fit this myself, I will give them a call

The company that came out to do the work did a fantastic job, very nice chap and was very helpful, so thought I'd give him a plug on here

Probably late for the party, but Auto Audio are fantastic, too!

When I just got into car audio I went for a cheap place in south London to install a HU the facia frame kept coming off - so I learned my lesson and any future work was done at Auto Audio, 3 hifi systems in two cars and they are fantastic - also fixed the bloody facia

They did a very nice job on a Ceramic coating for my new car and also carry Morel's range of speakers, arguably the best...
