Weekend drive out from East London?

Anyone in central / east fancy a drive out somewhere this weekend?

I’m in E3. I dont have any set route - head out M11 to Essex and see.

Prob early Sunday morning but can be flexible.

Not available this weekend, but keep me in mind for other weekends. Am out Epping way. Usually try an early morning blast before the roads get overtaken with Sunday lunch drivers and hordes of cyclists!!!

P.S. Have heard good things about the St Neots car meet which takes place once a month. Not made it along yet, but will be attending as many as I can and looks like a reasonable back road blast from where I am.

I'm busy for the next two weekends but am also up for a drive (based in E12). I know a few decent routes around Essex and regularly go for a drive with a few guys on the Clio forum if you're interested?

I’m based in E1x.. it would be nice to have a little group going. This Pistonheads London group seems quite dead unfortunately!

I’m based in North London but I’ve been attending Surrey Car Meet for the last 9 months or so. Mix of static meets and Sunday drives all over SE England. Highly recommend it, always a good mix of cars and friendly people. Search for Surrey Car Meet on Facebook and Instagram.

I know of a nice little route that starts off by Woodford Green (just on the other side of the N.Circ Waterworks Roundabout) that goes thru Epping Forest,touches Herts and ends up in Harlow (for a Frankie n Bennys Breakfast) if anyone's interested 1 Sunday morning..It's about 40 miles of country lanes n twistys...

Well,there’s rain forecast for tomorrow..
And I’m away next week end..
So how does the 27th sound? It’s Bank Holiday Sunday..
I usually meet at 7.00 kick off @ 7.15 and usually at Frankie n Bennys for Brekkie by 8.30-9.00..

I am up for this definitely... however cannot do 27th - away for bank hol weekend. Suspect others might be similar... if so what about either Sat 2 or Sun 3 June as an alternative?

Any weekend works for me, don't mind if members have something planned and want to go out another week.

Count me in, I’m interested in a morning drive.

After that, I will be doing another drive on the same evening (27th May) with Surrey Car Meet down to Brighton seafront. About 20 to 30 cars expected for that event, feel free to join if interested.

This Sunday (20 May) early morning I am due to meet up with a few 'London tunnel run chaps' central for a drive. It will be a lower speed tunnel based route central, more about exhaust/engine noise in tunnels than outright hooning.

If anyone wants to come along as my guest let me know - there is a PH forum on it but its restricted as a few years ago these runs got out of hand and attracted lots of unwanted behaviour and resulting police attention.

Its a very early start - 06:00h central London. Breakfast after.
