Hi, having trouble finding a self-service place to jet wash my car. Doing at home on the street is possible but complicated. Any advice where to find a self-service jetwash appreciated! Clapham/Balham area ideally but willing to venture out a bit. Thanks!

Texaco on Albert Embankment, but these aren't good for your car - filthy brushes and stuff.

I think Tesco in New Malden has a car wash, why not use a staffed hand wash?

The staffed one at tesco NM is closed at the moment, but one at Hampton Wick near the station and another just outside Kingston next to river

Texaco embankment one is inside the C charge zone so that'll be a no-go for most after the 7 days a week, 7am-10pm changes come in... Shame, it's the only good one in the area.

The Shell by Wandsworth bridge has one too but it's a small area and always being used by uber drivers whenever I'm there

Thanks for the responses.

Texaco Embankment is a good tip - btw I had read a couple of years ago that it was going to be replaced with a block of flats. Surprised it's still standing!

Shell on York Road (Wandsworth) apparently has one bay with jet wash but there are always queues. Managed to go there early morning one day. But realised I still need to wash the car by hand, as the jet alone doesn't cut it. Hand wash is a pain on residential street (messing about with buckets, etc).

Yes realised it a couple of days ago - and yes it's always busy. Also the machine only has set timings for soap, rinse, etc. You can't choose the function you want. Wish they made these machines a bit better. What if I just want the rinse?!

Another one for Esso near Stretham Hill station. Easy to get to from Balham and just put pounds and select what you want.
