These happen all the time - but it’s when a couple happen quickly that the press realise if they report on all of the ones they normally ignore then they can build a narrative and some clicks. Realistically there’s a fk load of crime every day, but most of it you’d never know about until the mainstream smell a headline and some revenue out of it.

I do wish it was better than it is. I do think it’s getting worse. But I do think you’d have to be quite unlucky to see anything during a visit to zone 1. I have lived in South London now for 5 years and still never witnessed anything serious despite stuff happening quite regularly.

So London’s a lawless cesspit where you shouldn’t wear a Rolex on public transport? Hmm. Woke policing to blame perhaps? Or have they also been defunded…

Is it that bad ?

Here in sleepy rural somerset we had a husband and wife stabbed to death by a neighbor , we've had shootings , nowhere is 100% safe.

I'm 60, lived in London all my life and not always in the nicer part I'm in now.

Sarf London upbringing and worked as a motorcycle courier, van driver and minicab driver in the 80s. Worked in club venues and gig venues in the 90s and early 2000s.

Always travel on London transport most of the time late nights for work.

I once had a knife pulled on me near Victoria station when I was 19 and I did get a beating from a gang on a bus when I was 20.

But apart from that smile so far, thankfully, I have never seen any of the action and warfare that the papers love writing about.

It's a big place with a lot of people and most of them are alright.

Now saying all this, I bet I get mugged tomorrow hehe

It was a point I made about 2 killings and as I write this make it 3.
You'd better move home, sunshine. Coz Kent appears to be a lawless, stabby hell-hole.

It is a dangerous place, it’s only the woke lefties and Khan supporters who appear not to notice the endless stabbings.
There have been conservative Home Secretary’s for over a decade.

Here's a suggestion which I suggest you run with. Just hear me out.

There are, on average, about 6 stabbing incidents each day in Greater London. The area has roughly ten million people living and working in it. So the odds of any one individual being stabbed on any given day are pretty high.

So, I suggest that just before you set off for town YOU STAB YOURSELF!

I mean, what are the odds of someone getting stabbed twice in one day? Infinitesimal, I reckon.

You're welcome. thumbup
