God this takes me back a long way! I grew up in the 'nice' end of North Road and went to that wonderful school, Cherry Lane! Last time I was back there, I found out exactly how many old school friends had been killed in accidents, or banged up inside! Anyone here of someone called Calvin Jones?

no....but i do remember a twat who lived down north road called richard ough! (he lived in one of the houses on the roundabout iirc) - he was a right chav!

This is quite bizarre actually, he lived up by the roundabout, less than 200 yards from me. Does this mean you remember Lee Pepper? Martin Speller? Gavin Walton? Shazard?

i know dean chestney,jimmy tunstall,steven pepper and a fair few others from the wise lane estate from where i used to go round my mates gaff and going fishing over monkey island with my mates brother (plus going drinking in the cat and death!) and we always had a right laugh.......whereas richard i unfortunatly got introduced to through a mate who was working with the knobstick at the holiday inn years ago,i remember throwing him out the door and down the stairs of the railway arms one night as i just got sick of hearing him whine on like a little bitch....i also remember john banks pulling him through the drivers side window of his crappy little chevette and beating him silly when richard did the stupid thing of getting lairy with him over a tenner (john is 6ft3 and at the time he was nearly 19 stone and didnt apreciate being called a 'fat c**t'!)......richard smashed his old dears fiat into a mint black capri on yew ave,yiewsley in 1992 and had to pay the owner £800 for the car because he didnt have insurance.....i told him it was knacked and got it off him for £150......and it was a brilliant car after i put a new wing,headlamp box,front lights,valance and bumper on!

i do remember the name 'shazzard'.....i cant remember wherefrom though.

I wonder if Stephen Pepper was a relation of Lee Pepper....
Shazzard was involved in a car crash which killed Gavin Walton about 8 years ago.
This really is a trip down memory lane for me. I moved away in '83, but still have good memories about the people I knew then.
