Ican't say that I've recruited anyone to PistonHeads, but I spoke to a few people at the last Cars In The Park who said they'd just discovered it, so there were a few oportunities to emphasise the NE section, and the fact that there are organised runs out, which seemed to surprise a few of them.

How about a NE PHer parade through the centre of Newcastle?
It won't draw the half million spectators that Bernie Ecclescakes cronies did last night, but I'm sure it would be fun.
Plus there are a few tunnels on the central motorway...

Chrisj, I quite fancied doing something like that with the Quayside and the like, but keeping the cars together would be a nightmare with a capital Night!

Much better to go to a very prominent location with all the cars, say the outside the Millenium bridge and have a "photo-shoot" and then head to the pub afterwards... that way you get the eyeballing without the need for a convoy.
