Ian, Normally open pit lane is granted in the afternoon provided the track officials agree that the people are safe to mingle. I intend to ask the direct question of them indicating that we won't be signing up unless it's open.

Richard, I used to Rallycross and circuit race in my 20's. Also did some track day tuition for local Porsche dealer and customers. Now really enjoy 5 - 6 track days a year.

I would love to compete again, but have other priorities in life.

Now where did I put that polishing cloth?.......

Mark, you will love it. My advice is to get someone who knows the circuit (instructor) to sit with you for the first 5 - 6 laps. That way you will learn the circuit and correct lines very quickly. It's a great circuit with some technical corners and some very fast ones.

I can't say yes or no until I know the car isn't going to overheat.
It's booked in for its MOT on Friday, and then I can start getting some miles done.
