Where / what about thus silver A4 plod car ????
To be honest, I didn't pay much attention to it. Silver A4 estate, looked like a pretty ordinary TDI model. V subtle Police mods, when it first passed us, it had no lights or siren going and I would never have realised it was the Police!Where / what about thus silver A4 plod car ????
Saw it around Swan House on A19 North. We pulled off to go to Roots Farm Shop which was already shut and when we rejoined the A19 they were pulled over in a layby, somewhere near the Picton turn off. At this point, the A4 had one of those matrix things in the back window saying 'POLICE FOLLOW ME'.

yellow Saxo along the A19 towards Sunderland with a PH smiley on the rear bumper. Would have been just after 5pm today
Probably not the same one, but I saw two yellow 'boy racer' type 'West Coast' edition Saxos in Newcastle the other night. They weren't together, but they did meet at some traffic lights at one point. The drivers look surprised to see another one! I haven't seen one in years! Not since I was much younger and test drove one. Loved the colour and the yellow trim detail inside, wasn't so wild about the 1.4 engine!northandy said:

I will never understand why people build these, what exactly is the point... besides the issue that they never look right theres the final kick in the balls that your driving a ford cougar of all things or Peugeot 406 coupe. Then the deluded individuals put them on the classifieds for the best part of £30k.
Spotted this Uno Turbo in the Metrocentre Yellow car park about an hour ago. So intriguing I stopped to get some photos even though it was chucking it down with rain.
Lots of nice mods on it, lightweight wheels, FMIC, wide arches, obligatory cannon exhaust etc. Inside, interior stripped right out bar the original dash, half cage, bucket seats, harnesses mounted to the cage etc. Looked every part the homebrew rally car. I imagine it's probably fairly nippy, probably weighs very little and by the look of it's I'd guess it's had a bit done to the engine too. Exceedingly cool in my books, I was more excited about seeing this than I would have been seeing the latest Ferrari.
