road angel nicked

had my new road angel nicked from the car last night, tossers came into work, nicked a glass breaker (lifehammer thing), went outside, smashed the glass and nicked the RA, bracket and power cord.

All I can think of was either it was a: someone I was selling it to (unlikely) or b: a chav who saw the bracket stuck to the windscreen (very likely)

for gods sake to anyone who's got a RA or any kind of camera device, if you're parking it somewhere for any length of time (going shopping or whatever etc) take the bracket off the screen...

I'm only lucky I didn't lock the glovebox cos there would have been more damage than just losing the RA and a passenger side window then...

I've always known Shields to be a bit lawless, but this takes the biscuit.

Hope they didn't cause too much damage

yeah byff - right outside work...

I've told blackspot that it's been nicked so they've blacklisted the serial number, so within a few days it'll be a 50 quid paperweight for some mug somewhere, still - can't be helped...

pointless claiming off the insurance, i'll just get another one...

A friend of the family had theirs nicked from their Landcruiser whilst parked in the Metrocentre on Monday. Must be a bit of a spate going on!
