I have e-mailed Gemini to his RO mail-box. I'm not convinced he's reading e-mail but it's worth a shot.

Hi people

So we have moved to here now? Just a qucik post to say that unfortunately I don't think I will be able to make it out this time. Due to the Christmas demon and a series of unfortunate events: having to travel around the country a lot, road tax due, new brakes for the TVR and no pay rise,to be honest I can't afford a 120 mile jaunt. I really am that bu&&ered for cash.

Now I know people will say: if you can't afford the petrol then you shouldn't have the car. Well that's their opinion and they are not in my position. TBH if things don't get better it may be bye bye to the Tiv and the NE.

Sorry

Oh no. Hope things start to look better for you soon. Perhaps you could accompany Tom or Stefan provided they have spare passenger seats.

That's just the tw@ts at your office. Everyone goes through lean times every so often but I'm sure things will pick up.

At the moment, my car will be full, but if they don't come along, i'll offer anyone a lift if needs be.

No it's not the office things. I'm over that, I have a TVR and they don't. End of it all.

Mainly financial stuff and other "real life" related things.

you're welcome for a lift in the Marlin if I make it Chris (looking doubtful I can get the car fixed in time now , trying very hard tho). If not, I'll be in a Citroen I reckon

I'm not fussed on location, but doesn't that seem like a mini BTaP for TVR people?

Well yes but I wasn't planning to join in the evening festivities, just planning to join them if they were convoying anywhere similar to us on the 7th. I'm not convinced I'll be able to get enough info though. I have had a text of Gemini but he says someone else is organising this one. In the end we'll still have plan 'A' to fall back on

Since this is yorkshire why not see if some more southern people fancy meeting at the pub for a drink? Ultimately Yorkshire isn't a North East event?

I've always considered North East to be Newcastle/Sunderland/M'boro up to Berwick... Yorkshire, is um, Yorkshire.

Might not be equated on the maps (boundary wise) but thats my feelings anyways

Just throwing an idea in.

Some have voiced concern with 7th, other commitments etc.

How about 8th or 15th Feb? I know it's impossible to please everyone but, to be honest, 7th is somewhat difficult for me too.

I will see what I can do. What is the list for everyone going?

Has anyone contacted Wedgie and Frankie, Tbloke99 and CB-Dave? I can pop down to Halfords and try and Grab CB after work one day.

Route and Pub sounds great.

8th Feb is the same date as the NETVRCC monthly meet at Newcastle, which I guess a few people may want to go to (I usually do).

Saying that, a convoy through the country sounds more appealing than an hours natter, so I'd be up for it on the 8th. Would probably have a spare pasenger seat too if anyone wanted a lift.
