My bum is numb. My leg and knee hurts. My arms are stiff. My hair covered in muck. I'm tired. And I'm bloody glad I managed to sort the car out this morn make it to the pub. Shame I couldn't convoy down with you tho.

Some pictures:

That last one is spoiled by a rain droplet on the lens The picture is also missing Byff and his Cerbera.

Great day, tiring, and embarrasing (I did a Tom and left the fuel cap in the car park )... Great day, I have a couple of movies, but they aren't much use...

I loved going through the villages, virtually everyone stopped and looked at the TVR's, Fiat (ahem) and the Marlin.

Thanks Bob for organising the day, how about the next one heads up towards Keilder? Or towards the lake district?

OK here you are. Here's a good one of Byff.

We'll despite the British weather I had a great time - I'll get the other pictures (the decent one's anyway) posted sometime soon.

Cheers Bob for very pleasant days entertainment.

I think this shot sums the day up very well.

Thanks for joining in the fun today. I wasn't sure how well it would work having a run so early in the year. I guess there's a lot of car washing planned now.

I hate you all (not really, I'm just seething with envy). It was all on the cards to come out, but circumstances worked against me. Hubby had been so good recently that the party atmosphere in our house last night was too much, and he got slaughtered. He was SOOOOO not in a fit state to look after the littl'un that I thought I'd just make the effort to come out to the meeting point, show face, meet you all, apologise and come home.
Just as I was about to leave, however, one of our friends' kids broke a plate which was extremely valuable, so I had to stay to smooth things over. They were upset, and I was upset etc. etc.
I'm really glad you had a good time, and I hope I can make the next one. Start posting ideas now!

Whaddaya mean 'the decent ones'?!?!?!
Seriously though, that one looking back to WildfireS3's headlights looming out of the murk was quite good.

I thoroughly enjoyed that day, thanks to all and I look forward to next time.
And the sunshine.

Yep 'twas a good day out. The GF enjoyed it immensley. No major damage other than a few more dents in my exhauts manifold and Dexy's exhaust.

As he said before into a deep dip and out and loads of sparkes from the back of that wedge!! Pity I didn't get a picture. I'll mail mine to Stefan tomorrow.

Aside from my wipers blowing out just before the Lion Inn, things were cool. Many thanks to chrisj who tried to help with the consistant blowing of fuses.

Looking forward to next time, hopefully the weather will be good for some top down craziness and so I can get some good video. The auto focus kept on focusing on the rain on the windscreen!

incidently who came back towards me when I left the petrol cap? Had a jolly good time racing back towards the rest Thanks (I know it was the black Chimera, and have a feeling it was Mad Dave?).

Where did Bomb disappear to?

And the question that has been bugging me, did you hear me/us coming?

Mad Dave? Was he there?

Got to the T junction and wondered where you had got to, waited for you to appear in the rear view mirror so you could see where we went but you never appeared. A white van appeared instead

WVM said he passed you *going the other way* So we decided to go and see what you were up to (imagining bit's of Marlin lying in the road - fortunatly it now transpires it was just the petrol cap )

Sorry, no we didn't hear you comming due to the V8 making all that noise...

lol, I rang Bob to let him know... Car smelt a bit bad for a while

Ah, I got confused, I'm not good with names... MickC, you are the gentleman who drives the black(ish) Chimera? Hello Thanks for coming back to check I meant to catch you but we all disappeared, and em, you can accelerate a bit faster than I on the A19. Sounded good tho!

If anyone has some decent snaps could they send me them? Or a link which I could post? I'm making a little page for my website (for me essentially) and would love to see some decents shots (mine are good, but only static obviously). I do have a little movie tho

Bomb ( & Mrs Bomb) said their goodbyes, , and left for home as we had an evening out planned...... I think you were still on your hands and knees in the mud at the car park looking for the filler cap at that stage. Thanks for a good day out though........

see you next time eh ??

Nice to meet you, and, em, you have a stunning car
