The missus' Mondeo has given up the ghost this morning, suspect fuel system problems. Any suggestions for trustworthy diesel specialists in the Tyne valley or Tyneside areas? Obviously I'm not going anywhere near Fraud themselves.

Thanks.

Have just found them on Yell - do you know if they are any good?

Have also found Thomas Fuel Injection in Blyth (bit far away but if they're worth it...)

They're both very good and would recommend either of them.

I've just used a mobile diesel specialist service based in the north east called The Diesel Doctor and found Gary very knowledgable and helpfull whilst diagnosing a problem on my Merc 220 cdi, he came to my place of work and seemed to have a lot of upto date diagnostic kit in his van, the problem was diagnosed within half an hour and rectified within the hour, and at a fraction of the cost of a dealer, excellent friendly service thanks Gary. Forgot to mention his number is 07528 950216.

Holy thread ressurection!!!!!

And what a blatant advert.

Just registered and your first post is to dig up a 2 year old thread and big up a company, complete with contact details!

I used garry (the diesel doctor) 3 weeks ago and he has wrongly diagnosed my van costing £600 of repairs that didn't need doing so if you need a diesel specialist I suggest you look who knows what they are doing
