Until PF I had a reputation for drinking like a fish and escaping hangovers. I think it was the ten or so shots of neat Vodka that did it me Lo'd.

That was her downfall - those of us who got drunk and threw the remaining alcohol in the vague direction of our faces (mostly missing by miles) woke up in a much better condition the following morning

Why not come and meet at least some of us at the East Midlands TVRCC meet tomorrow? I see from your profile that you're a Porsche driver (so a TVR meet might not be your natural habitat) but East Midlands is a really friendly meet, and you'll be welcomed as a car enthusiast. Our Regional Organiser ('The Management' ) generally turns up in his Porsche.
The meet is lunchtime (11.30 onwards really) at the Old Ship at Lowdham - see here www.tvrcc-eastmidlands.co.uk/monthly_meetings.asp.
Food, beer (for the passengers of course) and company are absolutely excellent.
