Me too! I can't believe I only got to give you a big hug, kiss and "Hi!"
You're not the only one who thought that, Emm. I only got a kiss and hug from Pod too!

Jees, I ended up with Corrine sat on my lap in the bar before she went and had a polite chat with "Chair Guy", and arrived with a nice red chair, only for it to be hastily swapped for a nice black one poor sod, I genuinely felt sorry for him.

Great night!

Top night, really cool to meet you all!

Apologies for shooting off to bed relatively early, I think I had a "bad pint" in Jerusalem.

At least I didn't fall asleep at the bar....ahem...Corrine...

And I shook the hand of a PH legend, Daz.

Thanks Emma, sterling efffort.

Great to meet you too Neil, and the lovely Liona, never mind mate, we stayed at the bar until 3am - whatever happened to the bar closes when the last punter wants a drink? miserable chair Nazis.

...but every time I tried to go and get a chair, you stopped me!

Yeah, sorry about nodding off at the bar . That's what you get for trying to match Daz drink for drink. I think I peaked early

Had a fabulous night - top conversation from everyone, and I woke up this morning thinking I'd been kicked in the chest because my ribs ached from laughing so much. What an excellent group of people!

Got to be done again soon - thanks to Emma for doing all the organisation. It's easy to underestimate how much you have to do to pull something like that together.

What a superb night. Thanks Emma for organising it and everyone else for turning up and making it a fun night. Definitely worth the journey up. Count me in for the next session.

In the name of research, it is true, I tried some lentil thingy at the curry house. Think they are the reason I felt quite ill when I woke up this morning. Must be an allergy or something, nothing to do with drinking from 2pm to 3am.

cheers

DAZ

PS - Neil, have a great time next weekend. I look forward to hearing how the stunt driving course went.

Dangerous thing these lentils. They cause all sorts of reactions in some people, so I'm told. Nice to see you again Daz!

It has occurred to me that the proximity of 3 tracks closely adjacent to the M1 in Leicestershire and not too far from Nottingham might offer an opportunity for a pre-evening fun day.

(I suspect that a post evening day would be less fun for most! Especially if an early start was required.)

Haven't checked everywhere but Donington has a TrakZone day scheduled for Sat 26th March. Not much close by either side though (23rd April is the next one) and 26th is the Saturday of the Easter Weekend so may not be a popular date to choose.

Thoughts?

Time for a new thread?

Will do Daz.

I thought the lentil curry was the tastiest (and hottest) dish we had.

However, was disturbed to discover that it was just as spicy on the way out.

If the next get together is targeted around the end of March my lady friend, Jonna-Rex could make it too.....

Fantastic! It would be great to meet Jonna. Easter Sunday is 27th, so how about Saturday 19th or 26th March or 2nd April?

Hi Jonna! Unfortunately that is Easter Saturday and, therefore, it may make it inconvenient for a lot of people. Will you be around on the 2nd April or 19th March?
