Right then! I've made a provisional booking:

Siam Thani Thai Restaurant
16-20 Carlton Street (city centre)
2nd April
7pm
For 25 people.
Set meal £15 per person(starter & main course)
Vegetarian option available (cheaper)

Dates and numbers can be changed. They offer two sittings, 7pm and 8.30pm. If 7pm is not the most suitable time for most, then that can be changed too.

I phoned their Royal Thai sister restaurant and they do not cater for large groups. The Pretty Orchid was £18 pp.

Not a judgement on the quality of your conversation my dear - honest!

Actually more a judgement on the quantity of red wine in evidence when we go to the pub!

That red wine.....nasty stuff. Particularly the stuff that fizzes slightly when its poured into the glass.....

I was guilty of driving the Mini a little more spiritedly than perhaps I should when I drove to the curry night. Going round the Maid Marian/Derby Road/Parliamemt Street roundabout twice was quite amusing especially when I was cut up by a 4x4, then took him on again. Although I had a little 'moment' earlier on another roundabout when the brakes were not working quite as well as they normally do having 4 people in the car instead of just one. Mind you the grip was better and I don't think anyone paid that much attention to the ...ooh...um...phew... noises...

Pod, will you be wearing your underwear under your clothes, or on top of them?
