Guys and Gals of the midlands region..

We're going to be testing the dragster (seen below) at Shakespeare County on the 19th & 20th of March..

It's an RWYB event, so there's opportunity to register to run your car down the strip if you want...

We'll be busy tinkering with the car, but you're more than welcome to come down and say hello...

Slinky, thinking of putting the ute down the track at the weekend. What are the essentials? (helmet, drivers license etc). Also, any idea of cost?

Drivers license is a must, helmet is required if your going to be doing more than 100Mph @ the top end..

Cost wise, I think it's about 10 or 15 quid to get it, then about 15 quid to register to run, that'll give you as many runs as you can fit in..

I'm scouting around www.shakespearecountyraceway.com/index.htm at the mo to try and find exact details..

www.rwyb.com is the Santa Pod rwyb website, so it'd be worth having a look on there for rule clarification..

I'll let you know if I find any more details,
