My sister lived there happily for many years. First in Aston-by-Stone then Airdale Rd in Stone. I hope you are happy there too.
Curborough Sprint Course is not far away, Shenstone & District Car Club website will tell you more.
Of course the season is winding down now. Some events there are free admission dependent upon the club, the bigger events like VSCC charge for entry.
Last winter some P/Hers met up in Cannock Chase. I found the details on P/H Midlands section.
On the 1st Sunday of the month there is a morning meeting of interesting cars at Middleton Hall near Sutton Coldfield.

I hope you soon settle in.

There is a breakfast meeting held during the summer for local enthusiasts at an old brewery in Stone. Happens every month and usually a fairly eclectic collection of cars attend.
You are not far from Loton Park near Shrewsbury, and Oulton Park either.
If you are into classics, the the Wharf meeting near Market Drayton is a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours in early June.
None of these are PH meets though, but worth attending for any "car guy".

I see you have a Mazda, that immediately makes me warm to you - I have 5 Mazda's !
Do you have something exotic not mentioned in your profile?
Sorry the Mazda was a company car that I left behind with my old job, was the 2.2 diesel Mazda 6 saloon, and to be honest was a much nicer, better all round car than the Passat I have atm, but picking up a V60 D4 next month. Do you have something exotic not mentioned in your profile?
My car is the ST though, still got that and still love it to bits
Thanks for the heads up.

Not a classics guy, I'm still in my twenties even though I drive like I'm in my 50's haha. I do like the old breakfast meets though, cant beat a combination of fryup and car talk! You are not far from Loton Park near Shrewsbury, and Oulton Park either.

Welcome to the area. If you're in Stone then there is "The Garage" in Eccleshall, great for usual stuff and MOTs.
Or Bank Top Garage in Gnosall are very good too, but that's 10 miles away from you.
Monthly PH meet at the Red Lion pub in Sutton on the A519 between Newport and Woodseaves (second Thursday of the month, maybe finished this year)

I see the meets have finished now, typical really!
Hi. I saw your question re the Breakfast Club meet near Oswestry. Used to be at Cosford and usually attracted a couple of hundred cars. I haven't been to the new venue but I'm sure Coxy will shortly answer your question. The Ironworks centre is worth a run out to anyway. About an hour from Stone I would guess.
