Xmas Break Meet
Discussion
Looked like a good run, still gutted I missed it despite the chilly weather but it appears i was destined not to do it.......
When I finally got home this morning my 'daily' wouldn't start and as that is blocking the garage door I wouldn't have been able to get the Monaro out for the run anyway!!

That was a great run out - thanks Chris for leading it. I'll have to have a good look at a map to try and work to where we went, but there were some great roads interspersed with some I recognise. I'm glad I braved the salty roads for it - I need to give the MR2 a good wash tomorrow!
I've stitched together a time lapse from the GoPro on the front of my car: https://youtu.be/8Cg2-t7hk8o
I also got this photo at the cafe stop:

I can't believe my car looks clean in that picture. When I got back my wife thought I'd been off road
I'm sure it must the the aerodynamics - as it didn't look that dirty at the cafe stop, but looked a lot dirtier than other cars after. Great to see a GT4 being used properly though.RossP said:

C'mon boys, you should know better than we'd have the cars sat in the garage or one the drive over the hols with relatively empty roads to explore/enjoy.I'm did contemplate a bank holiday Monday quick run out (& I still am) but I don't think the weather is expected currently to be quite as warm (yes really). Howeve, if you fancy a 'little' run out PM me as I could be easily led astray & the little car is fuelled & sat in the man cave ready for more 'twisties'

Which area are you thinking of Chris?
Have PM'd you although it would be slightly further on from where we ended up last time, so more new roads for you to enjoy anyway, but trying to stay off the A-roads as much as possible, including a decent run home! The plan would still be to be back in the Lichfield area for "1-ish"MrC986 said:
