I'll be up for this as well I reckon, as long as I can get a reasonably priced hotel room sorted

Dougie's at the Strathdon. They are reasonably priced (see above post for details.) Glad you can make it.

Matt fp and v15ben are coming according to page 3 and mustard is on page 1.
I think somebody on page4 has quoted the original list by mistake probably meyou will have to give me an extra stroke of the whip for that.

Tsch tsch, missing in action again!

I should be able to make this, is it the Friday or Saturday night. I am back in Nottingham working at the Uni from the 3rd to the 8th but I can easily come down the night before if I can find somewhere to crash!

Arse and bugger, but it now looks like I won't be able to make it - not only is my car poorly, but I can't say for sure if I'll be able to be there or not. Arse.

Sorry you can't make this one Fatboy. We'll be having another night out again, probably late September/early October. Hopefully we'll see you then and you will get your car sorted soon.

Pass then! Not sure when my summer school starts but I have a nasty feeling I am having an alcohol free team building exercise evening on the Saturday night (brilliant )

Sorry folks, see some of you Saturday though

BUGGER BUGGER BUGGER!

Looks like the summer school starts on the Saturday evening with an alcohol free week of work planned instead of a night one in town!

Looks like I won't be seeing you there then.

I will see a few of you at Le Mans no doubt but after that I will be on the other side of the world for 6 months, PH'ing in Sydney

Sorry to hear that you won't be able to make this night out Ben. It seems that destiny dictates that you won't make any of these. I guess we'll see you next Easter then. Have fun at Le Mans and in Australia.

Yep it seems that will be the way but what can you do! I have had my first experiences of Welsh mountain roads, F1 cars and drivers and British Superbike racing this week so not a bad effort. I will keep in touch with the forums and events from Oz and be back in the loop next January for a few winter driveouts hopefully

I've just been to Antalyas Turkish restaurant. I can't believe I've lived in Nottingham for seventeen years and have never been before. It was fantastic. The food was superb, the menu was extensive and the service was second to none. But, best of all (apart from getting free fruit and liquers for desert), they had a belly dancer. Me and my friend had a dance with her as well as a couple of fellas. Great fun! So, I was wondering, how about this instead of the Chinese buffet? It will be a real laugh and we can have a big table all to ourselves. Come on fellas! How can you resist the lure of a curvaceous belly dancer?

Well, they eat plenty of lamb. There is a good choice of traditional meat dishes, kebabs (nice ones), moussaka, lots of vegetarian options. The starters are delicious. There are about thirty! Lots of deserts, coffees, teas, liquers. They also do a set menu which includes a selection of starters, main course, desert, fruit, coffee and liquer (I think) for £15.95. We had complimentary bread and pickled chillies, olives and carrot too. (And that was on top of complimentary fruit and liquers.)
