Tyre centre recommendation for Pirelli's on a M6 GC
Discussion
Denmead Tyres is a firm favourite with a lot of PH members, one of the very few truly independent shops, with an excellent reputation. Michelin Pilot Super Sport are brilliant, may also do the Acoustic version depending on size, or asa cheaper choice, go for the Goodyear F1 Asymmetric another brilliant tyre compared to Pirelli. These choices of course, are based on my personal opinion.

For give my ignorance, but what is the acoustic version?
The super sport is a superb tyre , but, because of its hard wall, suffers road noise on 20” rims, so they developed the acoustic version which kills the noise, layer of foam bonded too inner tyreThe VOL marking made specifically for VOLvo Polestar

There's a recurring theme on PH that if you don't buy Michelin's, you're inferior!
I rated the P Zero's which I had on my Mk7 GTI.
If you only need 2 then replace 2. Micheldever are excellent.
Hey Nic, I am certainly not a tyre snob, I refer you too my original post here, I've always been a big fan of Goodyear, which I have on my V70 R AWD, brilliant grip, comfortable and quite, but, on my Polestar, there is no way I would get the same standard of handling I get from the Pilot Super Sport.I rated the P Zero's which I had on my Mk7 GTI.

I use Micheldever as they are close BUT always check on line prices first as they aren't always the absolute cheapest but on every occasion but one where they were over & it was only a few they price matched, on the one they didn't I think they possibly knew they were out of stock just about everywhere else .
Some tyres sold online are old stock so if you actually buy online check the manufactured date if you can or if not stipulate no older than a certain period, a friend bought some & they were 5 years old & obviously passed their best for grip , they were returned .

It wasn't what I was insinuating Dave. It was an observation of the view on tyres held by many members of the PH community "Buy Michelin or send us your pics when you bin it into a hedge." Just ask Adam (blue R26 F1) about his experience with PH and tyre recommendations when you see him next
