Monday 6th June starting from Gaydon museum at 11.00am
A 35 mile scenic drive around the North Cotswolds before lunch at The Butchers Arms, Priors Hardwick. ( A very upmarket restaurant)

www.thebutchersarms.com/1fs_main.home.html

After lunch which will take about 2-3 hours there will be a wine tasting at Th Lost Vineyard of Hellidon which is about 1 mile from the restaurant.

At this moment in time nothing is booked it is just an idea but it has been done before as a Sunday event.
I realise interest will be limited but there are 4 of us who will be doing this subject to the venues being available.
Let me know if you want to join us.

Ooh! Sounds interesting. Could be tempted . Wine tasting sounds great, I'll have to abstain though - damn shame!

Edited to add, I'll just look at the web site

Update on this event.
The Butchers Arms is open and awaiting confirmation of numbers.
The Lost Vineyard of Hellidon is now booked for a wine tasting in their Windmill and also await numbers. The wine tasting and talk costs £3.50 per head.
So far there is a group of 8 in 5 cars.
More people can be easily catered for at this moment in time.
If you like good food, wine and driving you will enjoy the day.

I could well be up for this, being a lady of leisure nowadays.

Emma - you might not have to abstain from the wine tasting. I live about 5 miles from Hellidon. We could leave cars at mine and get a taxi/lift to the tasting...

What do you think?

What! Miss the drive? Do you think I'm mad? Take that as a, "Yes".

What about Rude Girl? You are welcome to passenger with me Corinne. You can then comfortably swallow rather than spit at the wine tasting.
