I was there early yesterday & met another PHer who I know. There's always people to chat to & generally everyone plays by the "#don't be a d1ck".
I was there again yesterday and saw you arrive (recognised the car, I’m not a stalker rofl).

That F40 was lovely and kind if stole the show a wee bit.

Went today in my CSL. Very sunny Bank Hol Sunday, but wasn’t too crazy, thought it was well organised.

Really enjoyed a coffee and walk around.

Few idiots floored it out the gate, but most behaved

Will go back again
We’re you the chap with the CSL converted to manual? If so, I had a bit of a chat with you.
That would have been my mate who’s username on here is Chapppers. He drove to Wales in it after being at C&M.

Nope not me, I arrived about 11am and saw the other CSL. Unfortunately I had to park at the back of the field!

That CSL was cool as hell with the manual ‘box. Looked in great nick too given that it was well used (in a good way).

Fair enough. A CSL is a bloody cool car; the best looking M car ever to my eyes with an induction noise from the gods.

How busy is it usually on a Saturday at 9am? Planning on meeting a mate this Saturday for a catch up and a bit of breakfast but not sure if I need to pre-book a parking space or just pay the fiver on the day.

Second time I will of brought my Forester STi with me but unfortunately I don’t have time to clean it before the weekend ;(

I tend to aim for just before 9am and have never had an issue parking. It does seem to get busier a bit later.

Rock up before 10am and you'll most likely get a parking space.

From then on it gets more and more of a gamble...especially if the weather is nice.

Went this morning, been meaning to for ages. Nice drive out, good coffee, decent breakfast and very varied collection of cars and people.
The only thing that I would mention was the waiting time for food and drinks. The punters outnumber the staff quite considerably. It didn’t bother me much as I wasn’t in a hurry, but I did hear some grumbling.
All in all, a good morning. I shall be back.

Was meant to go today with Hertfordshire Abarth OC and a load from RoadStr but couldn’t make it. Looks like a lovely venue - perfect weather today - looked like a good turn out on C&Ms Instagram.

It’s inevitable that the staff will be out numbered given the size of car park they’ve now got! It’s best to go in the week or the evenings where possible, or get there first thing & enjoy all the cars/bikes arriving. They acknowledge they’re still on a steep learning curve though if anyone complains they should remember how busy it can get at peak times (& they’re not selling just black/white coffee or tea for example). It is a great place though thumbup

Last time I went there was a gas leak so no breaky. We had to make do with an athletes breakfast of cookies and crisps! rofl

On a more serious note, I love it there so am more than willing to cut them some slack. They do genuinely seem to care and want to lean from mistakes etc.
