Beerheadz would have been a better option.
Each to their own....I can't drink the beer in there! (And we've made an embargo of that place in the gang).

Plus, we also boycott pubs that sell 2/3........it's just wrong.

....and you can't watch the buses or other attractions.

So, no, not really hehe

But you can drink that lager?! Fair enough.

It's a safe option hehe Strangely the best proper beer in the area is in Via Fossa & is the Landlord. I don't really like that pub (and I don't know why).

The Canal House used to have Black Sheep, but now seems to have narrowed (no pun) the range to Castle Rock beers.

The Beerheadz beer is just vile. (In our opinion....as I say, each to their own thumbup)

A pint of Amstel on a stained bench adjacent to rusty railings. That’s class right there.
I think last time I saw you you were dribbling into your pint of Fosters whilst sitting on a stained wooden bench adjacent to rotten wooden fencing in the vicinity of a ‘sports bar’ / cricket club laugh
Classy…. wink
Indeed. Before you pointed out that they sold Moretti.

You were drinking some awful brown beer I seem to recall. This I remember because you didn’t get your round in and I bought it for you twice in succession.

Surely in Nottingham it should be Shipstones Ales?

The Park used to be on google street view, strangely enough Clare Valley was blanked out even then. Perhaps somebody famous lives there.

Somebody has restarted making Shippo's. Thankfully it doesn't have the usual effect on your bottom.

None of the Park is available on streetview.

Nostalgia. hehe

I once drank 25 pints of Shippo's mild in a session. (Might have been 23, might have been 27, it was a bit vague towards the end.

Yeah I guess it doesn't have mass market appeal.

I think it's a great place with some great ales.

I would, saying that my mate chose a beer that none of us liked, he always chooses badly though!

Hmm, Moretti is a premium lager the others aren't. Though something in it messes with my colon.

Apologies for joining this late. Not been to Nottingham for a very long time. But Riock City was a good venue, is it still there? And at the time the city was reputed to have more female students than male, not that I was ever able to take advantage ...

Yes Rock City is still there.

The women to men thing is a myth. I think it probably goes back to the lacemaking days when the workers were mostly women.

I might have walked past you while you had that! That area looks so much better already and that's even with the remains of the broadmarsh there!
